In October 2011 I set up Blackbird Real Estate GmbH as a niche real estate transaction advisory boutique. All in all my personal track record consists of successfully closed transactions in excess of € 3 bn. - „from core to poor“.

In 2014 Blackbird initiated its first co-investment and successfully exited it end of 2016, followed by Backbone Capital Partners in 2017 - the niche investor with a buy & hold strategy for commercial real estate in small cities throughout Germany. Summer 2018 we initiated a JV for a value add property in the „Ruhrpott Region“ where we act as co-investor and successfully sold parts of it early 2020.

I studied Business Administration at the European Business School (ebs) in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. In addition, as a real estate economist I gained additional qualifications at ebs. Since the summer of 2009, I am a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and since March 2012 I am a Fellow (FRICS). In April 2020 I became member of SIORs European chapter, whose Vice President I am since May 2024.
