Alex Waddey is responsible for all operations of NAI Global. NAI Global is one of the largest commercial real estate firms worldwide and a top five global brand. NAI Global has consistently generated over $20 billion in annual transaction volume, operates more than 325 offices, manages over 1.15 billion square feet of properties and facilities and has 5,800 + professionals in 65 countries.

Previously, Mr. Waddey was a Senior Managing Director of NAI Global and Co-Head of the group’s Capital Markets practice where he oversaw the execution of over $8.5 billion in transactions. He also served as General Counsel for NAI Global.  

Prior to joining NAI Global, Mr. Waddey was a partner at Stites & Harbison law firm where his practice focused on commercial real estate and real estate finance. He was a member of the Capital Markets Group where he led a team in closing CMBS financings for national conduit lenders including JPMorgan, SunTrust Bank and National City Bank. 

Mr. Waddey is on the Board for the Young Adult Cancer Initiative at Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center and is a past President of the Board of the Ronald McDonald House of Nashville. He also previously served on the Board of the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
